NOT A HOTEL NASU THINK is a unique residence composed of two contrasting structures: a main house and a detached annex.
Designed by Makoto Tanijiri and Ai Yoshida of SUPPOSE DESIGN OFFICE, the architecture balances solitude and togetherness, stillness and activity. The three-story annex offers a private retreat with a study, rooftop open-air bath, and bedroom—ideal for moments of quiet reflection. In contrast, the main house features a striking floor-to-ceiling bookshelf, a spacious living room, and a terrace for vibrant gatherings.
From waking up to views of the highlands to unwinding in the terrace’s sauna and pool, the house invites guests to fully immerse themselves in the nature of Nasu.
